The Old Man and the Sea. It's fine. Hemingway's best work is elsewhere.
Ulysses. I've tried three times. I understand why it's significant. I don't think significance makes it worth reading.
Jonathan Livingston Seagull. A "classic" of airport bookshops that is philosophically shallow and sentimentally manipulative.
