I made the switch recently and I'm curious what brought others here. What wasn't working on Goodreads?
Goodreads feels like it hasn't been updated since 2012. The reviews are a mess, the recommendations are terrible, and the interface is genuinely painful to use.
The community here feels smaller and more real. On Goodreads reviews are mostly star ratings with one sentence. People actually write here.
The contest was the hook honestly. But I stayed because the book pages are better and the vibe filters are actually useful.
