I know his reputation but his books are famously difficult. No Country for Old Men seems like the most accessible entry point but everyone says Blood Meridian is the masterpiece. Where do I start?

The Road if you want to cry. Blood Meridian if you want to be unsettled for weeks. No Country if you want a thriller that happens to be literary.
No Country for Old Men. It has a plot, it's relatively short, and the prose is beautiful without being overwhelming. If you like it, The Road next. Blood Meridian last — it requires commitment.
