The wedding at Bueno-Vista

Elaine may be invisible to those who wish her well, but she is too visible to such predators as the lecherous Adrian or the burglars who steal her possessions and sense of security. In terror she flees to an anonymous apartment block and for protection invents a marriage with an invisible husband.
