The Official Guide to Mega Man

This is a tips, and strategy guide, for three of the Mega Man games for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and a sneak preview and hints for the Game Boy game. For each game there are gray scale screenshots, and various mini black and white illustrations of characters and items, some of which for the 'Mega Man 2', section were drawn by the author's wife Janet Schwartz. Each game is introduced by a narrative letter type communication, the author listing himself as both S. Schwartz "Ministry of Interplanetary Defense", and later "Director of the Galactic Council", there is also a fictional interview with Mega Man. Besides tips for each level and boss strategies, there are also passwords shown for the second and third NES games, and occational hand drawn maps with numbered blocks, or drawings of where platforms will move.
