by Robert Aron
This is in part an anthology of Hebrew prayers which the young Jesus said and prayers which are still recited and sung in Jewish homes and synagogues throughout the world. The author also places the young Jesus in both the social and religious milieu in which he grew to maturity. By recreating the prayers and rituals which Christ knew in his home, in the synagogue and in the Temple, he brings the readers to a new and profound understanding of how his Jewish background shaped every aspect of his personality and marked every element of teaching.
