The Dunsmuir saga

Robert Dunsmuir was born in 1825 in Scotland, son of James Dunsmuir and his wife Elizabeth Hamilton. He married on 11 September 1847 to Joan White. Early in their marriage James and Joan moved to Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. They were the parents of ten children. James died in 1889 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Descendants are located in California and British Columbia.
