The book describes and analizes the evolution of the international world order since the XVI century up to the end of the cold war and presents a general panorama of the new internacional order of the XXI century. Also analizes the evolution of the mexican foreign policy and the way in wich it is facing the chalenges of our present times, with a special reference to the negotiation of the Free Trade Agreement of Northamerica (NAFTA).
