When "the little wanderers" are given a homework assignment, they go to Papa Lemon who tells them a story about his special locomotive that travels through time. Papa Lemon then sends them on an adventure back in time where they are able to hear Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. The children not only satisfy the requirements for their history lesson (in an unusual way) but learn a lesson about all people living together regardless of differences.
