The book is the diary of a 64-year old woman who was deported from Hamburg to the Theresienstadt concentration camp in 1942. It contains a lengthy introduction and historical account by Barbara Muller-Wesemann, and is currently (March 2011) being translated from German into English by Dorothea Shefer-Vanson (dorothea@shefer.com).
