God, time, and being

Two currents in contemporary theology seek to know and name God. One is the understanding of "God with us," where knowing God is to live inseparably with him. The other is the eternal incomprehension of transcendence. This book weaves these threads together to explore the mystery at the heart of hermeneutics: the revelation of Jesus Christ and the cloud of unknowing.
