Evaluating research in communicative disorders

This text for graduate students in communicative disorders explains how to read, understand, and evaluate research. Coverage includes basic information on research strategies and design in communicative disorders, measurement issues, evaluative criteria, and the four typical parts of a research articles. Two complete research articles, on audiology and speech-language pathology, are presented with evaluation checklists to guide students in evaluating important features of research. Chapter study questions are also included.
