by David Van Bik
I have personally seen this book for myself and I work with the owner of it everyday. He got the book as a gift from his best friend. The book is fairly good condition and is being used even today as a study guide for their children. This book appeared to be typed on a home type writer and included signatures from the Van Bik family. The cover of this book had no art work or fanciful things, it was simply titled "English-Chin (Haka) dictionary". I had some difficulty finding out who the author was, but I found a very faint stamp (hand stamped) on the inside of the book. His book was a baby blue color, but he said he had seen it in a variety of colors. Visually speaking, the book looks like a military instruction manual with small print block letters and utilitarian definitions. The owner told me that the book has been in his family for a very long time, it was new or nearly new.
