experimentalist text, written -1986/7 in Formentera (Spain), Iowa city and Amsterdam, mentioning many other places, especially China. the titleof the book means literally 'through the eye of the wind' and refers, according to the writer to the origin of the english word 'wind-eye', a hole in the wall to look through, before glas windows were invented.
