Azul Profano can be described as a compilation of contemporary, post-war poetry from the point of view of an author who found himself in the need to leave Guatemala in the and look for asylum in México in the midst of the bloody 80's decade. In spite of the hostility of the subsequent events, some poems are rather tender and above all filled with a sense of humanity. The book was published in El Salvador in 1996. ![alt text][1] [1]: http://www.elsalvadormall.com/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=12750&osCsid=udjhffrdej3tvh0ou8sv4840v3
