Ashes and Embers

The Age of Heroes ended long ago. Unfortunately, history has other ideas. In Axalar, legends have become paperwork, forgotten ruins are best left unexplored, and even the gods occasionally wish mortals would stop 'helping.' When what should have been an ordinary assignment begins drawing the attention of ambitious guilds, meddling deities and long-buried secrets, survival becomes considerably more complicated than anyone had planned. Saving the world was never part of the plan. Surviving long enough to regret it might be.
